Gallery 3 West

Gallery 3 West is the home of the Mifflin Juniata Arts Council. We are fortunate to be located in such an historic and artistic building in the heart of downtown Lewistown.
The gallery is located on the first floor of the historic Montgomery Ward building on Monument Square. Constructed in 1929 as one of the department store's first retail outlets, the building is a classic example of the Art Deco architectural style. The center medallion, titled "Progress Lighting the Way for Commerce," was designed by Scottish-American sculptor J. Massey Rhind. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.
Gallery 3 West hosts art exhibitions, workshops, poetry readings, book discussions, and music.
